Instructions for Temporary Crowns

 

  • Chew as much as possible on the opposite side of the mouth.
  • Do not eat anything sticky such as: gum, taffy or tootsie rolls on the temporary crown.
  • Brush the gums around the temporary crown.
  • DO NOT FLOSS the temporary crown.

 

If temporary should pop off:

  • Recover temporary crown.
  • Rinse under warm water to soften cement.
  • Place crown back onto tooth.
  • If not able to replace, call the office and we will appoint you to come in.
  • Bring temporary with you, do not lose it.

 

DAMAGE CAN EASILY OCCUR TO TOOTH / TEETH AND GUMS IF TEMPORARY IS NOT RECEMENTED.
